Working with Growing Families
We specialize in working with families in motion. Life can get hectic; making it difficult to plan for many of your family's goals and dreams. We can make it easy for you for you to set up a time that meets your busy schedule.
Planning for Major Life Events
Growing families have a number of exciting new milestones. Some of which can be quite costly. We're here to help map out what is important to you and create a plan that allows you to meet these expenses while offering flexibilty as life changes its course. In addition, you should have a plan in case things do not go as planned. Some of the areas young families will need to plan for:
Planning For The Good:
- Buying a First Home - Putting aside money for your down payment, furnishing the home, landscaping, renovations, etc.
- Having a Child - There are many expenses that come along with a new baby. Many of which do not deal with your Health Insurance
- Saving for Education - Whether you are planning on private Elementary, private High School of Saving for College, we can help determine which path is best for you
- Retirement - It is never too early to plan for your golden years. We can help by putting the right assets in place and help to manage those during your working career
Planning For The Bad:
- Life Insurance - Now that you have others who are reliant on your income, it is important to make sure your family can continue to reach their goals even if you are not there. How will your family continue without your financial support and everything you do to captain the ship? Life insurance can alleviate the financial burden of losing a loved one.
- Taxes - What is the biggest expense you have each month? You might think it is your mortgage but it is actually your income taxes. We believe in beginning a relationship with a trusted accountant to help you along the way for tax planning and tax saving strategies. We can work with your CPA to coordinate your savings strategy and maximize your investment effectiveness
- Estate Planning - The last thing any grieving family will want to deal with is the paperwork and timely process of going through Probate court. Having all your Beneficiaries listed, Powers of Attorney in place, Wills and Trusts in order will all help to smooth out the process and allow for a seamless transition of assets. Although we do not give legal advice, we can work with your Estate Attorney to make sure we are on the same page with your wishes.
